There seems to be some confusion I thought I'd try and clear up. The mountain was bought by a 'golf course developer' but the mountain isnt being turned into a golf course. In fact, the current winter ski operations are getting better. There are improvements being made, but it seems that the new owner did not agree with Diablo management. It truly is a shame that there was so much damage and butting of heads, but at least its not all negative. The fact that they are going to honor 2012 passes seems to imply that they will open in 2012 regardless, perhaps with improvements like they're making to winter operations.
